Game Show Letters

April 16th, 2018 Mike Gecawich

As a kid, it wasn’t very often that my mom would let me stay home sick from school.

But on those rare days that I was deemed ill enough to miss class, I’d spend the morning under a blanket on the couch watching game shows.

It always felt unfair that the best game shows only aired during the day when I was at school.

Let’s Make a Deal. The Price is Right. Supermarket Sweep.

On these treasured days at home, I would watch them all.

Many teachers know that bringing game show-like activities into the classroom can be a great way to review content, take a break from the norm, and boost energy levels.

This week’s activity does all of these things!

While not based on any particular show, Game Show Letters will challenge your students to think critically about the keyboard while listening carefully to clues.

And best of all, everyone can win!

I love this. Do you have any more clues to choose from. I sure do hope so because if not I will make them up on my own and I just simply do not have the time.

I think this looks awesome, but how do you access it? I can’t see it as an option on the students’ login/portal.

Cute, but I would love to have all the clues complete.
