Two New Typing Lessons to Get You Through the Winter

February 15th, 2019 Mike Gecawich

It might seem like winter will never end, but at least there’s one thing to be excited about this February: EduTyping has just added two brand-new Reinforcement Lessons to the curriculum! These new lessons will help your students make the most of the cold weather with some winter-themed content to practice typing.

A new Making Headlines article in the EduTyping Secondary curriculum covers all the action at Super Bowl LIII between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams. This article gives a recap of the game as well as some interesting Super Bowl facts. For instance, did you know that Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest food days of the year, second only to Thanksgiving? The rivalry, the nail biting, the snacks—no matter who wins, Super Bowl parties are always a great time to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the game.

In EduTyping, Jr.’s Practice Library, meanwhile, students get some help brainstorming activities to get through the long, cold days of winter. From skating and snowball fights, to movie marathons and indoor camping, the Winter Activities article provides a huge list of fun-filled ideas to keep students entertained until spring is finally here.

Winter may be sticking around for a while longer, but your students will have plenty to keep them busy with these two fun new articles. To assign them to your students, go to Class Settings > Restrict Lessons and ensure that the lessons are selected.
