Lancaster School 5th Grade Typing Competition

At EduTyping, we’re always looking for creative ways to better support teachers to make typing instruction fun for their students.

Often, this happens by listening to teacher feedback and making adaptations to our typing program based on teacher requests.

But sometimes, our support comes in other forms too…

When Heather Fritz, a 5th-grade teacher from Linda Verde Elementary School, reached out that she was hosting a typing competition for her students, we couldn’t wait to get involved.

EduTyping collaborated with Heather to sponsor gift cards as prizes for the top 3 fastest typists in her class.

The result was a fun and focused typing competition and a great way to celebrate the work her students had done.

Check out some footage here for a highlight of the competition in action.

If you’d like to organize a typing competition at your school, let us know.

We’d love to sponsor some cool prizes for the winners to make the experience extra special.

Just shoot us an email at [email protected] to get in touch about making this happen.

On your marks, get set, TYPE!
